Klaus Erika Dietl and Stephanie Müller
For “So The Red Rose” Klaus Erika and Stephanie produced “How To Kiss A Shiver”, a sonic journey that gives insight into ALLIGATOR GOZAIMASU's fluid collaborative body that celebrates mood swings, insecurities, moments of joy and doubt and listens closely to the different tempi in these days.
Bio
Klaus Erika Dietl and Stephanie Müller are based in the midst of a buzzing collective of artists and activists. Together with performers, musicians, visual artists and researchers they develop performative walks in public space , sound installations and film projects.
Klaus Erika Dietl is a visual artist with a background in painting, literature and filmmaking. Together with fellow artist Stephanie Müller he initiated MEDIENDIENST LEISTUNGSHÖLLE in 2009. Since then it has evolved from a vibrant underground studio to a nucleus for international art exchanges. Dietl's main cause of friction is the memory of the unsaid. In his paintings, sound installations and film projects he digs into the lacks of understanding. What makes us take off the blinkers and question our insecurities and reservations?
Stephanie Müller is a visual artist and sociological researcher with a fierce love for rough sounds and improvisation. She has been playing different kinds of amplified sewing machines since 2002. Together with Laura Melis Theis, an Oxford based songwriter with a background in theater and literature, she initiated beißpony (ChicksOnSpeed Records/ RagRec). She plays an orchestra of musical sewing machines, the drums, modified typewriters, umbrellas or vacuum cleaners and constructs her own sound sculptures and instruments.
In 2016 she started her own label RAGREC and initiated ALLIGATOR GOZAIMASU, a band of many voices and noises with more than 60 members from all over the world. Currently Stephanie and Klaus Erika are producing the episodic album „As Long As Render Bars Go Colourful“ together with ALLIGATOR GOZAIMASU. Each month a new episode is released, all revenues are donated to Sea Watch e.V..
An ALLIGATOR GOZAIMASU festival with an international art an music exchange is scheduled for 13th till 15th of August 2021.
Für "So The Red Rose" haben Klaus Erika und Stephanie produzierten "How To Kiss A Shiver", eine klangliche Reise die einen Einblick in ALLIGATOR GOZAIMASUs fließenden kollaborativen Körper gibt, der Stimmungsschwankungen, Unsicherheiten, Momente der Freude und des Zweifels zelebriert und auf die verschiedenen Tempi in diesen Tagen aufmerksam macht.
Bio
Aktuell produziert Stephanie zusammen mit Klaus Erika und ALLIGATOR GOZAIMASU das Episodenalbum "As Long As Render Bars Go Colourful".
